Permission to toot our own horn?
MotherG is proud to announce we have renewed our Microsoft Gold Partnership for another year. This is Microsoft’s highest “ranking” of partners, and is not a small feat to accomplish. Thank you, thank you, we’re quite proud.
Ok that's enough patting our own back. I’d like to discuss why it’s important to work with a “gold” partner for any product you consider essential to your business operations. First, let's assume the product company has a partner, authorized reseller, or support provider program (most technology companies do). Next, spend a quick minute analyzing what their partner program means, and what different levels benefits partners receive (this information is usually easy to find on a company's web site). In many cases the top one or two tiers of partners has access to a host of resources that can help you, including discounts, better access to technical support, and promotional programs. For example, when one of our clients is experiencing an issue with a Microsoft product we have a direct support line we can call 24/7/365. Because of our level of partnership, we receive priority support. Or, if one of our clients is interested in a Microsoft product we can just call our account manager and schedule a demo. If this type of elevated access appeals to you, look for a higher tierred partner.
